Pellet boiler

The pellet boiler is a type of biomass fired boilers that are heated by burning sawdust pellets.

What is pellet?

The pellet used for combustion is a cylindrical, compressed fibrous material made of natural wood, pressed from biomass and compressed by high pressure, which makes it excellent. Usually 6mm in diameter and 2.5-5cm in length. Most often it is made using sawdust or wood chips. Wood pellets have an average thermal value of 5.14 kWh / kg with an ash content of 0.5-1%. Its energy value is high, its storage is simple. When combusting a pellet in a special boiler, only the amount of carbon dioxide released during the life of the tree and which would otherwise be liberated during its natural degradation - so it does not increase the airborne pollutants globally, blocks the greenhouse effect.
As a renewable source of energy, it is constantly reproducible, so there is no danger of running out of fossil fuels. In Europe, over the past few years, the use of pellet use is underway, and more and more people are converting their heating systems to economical, comfortable, renewable energy.

Operation
